Synopsis :
Vietnam, 1968. Le village où est cantonné le capitaine Sam Cahill est soudainement attaqué par l'armée Vietcong. L'élephant sacré du village meurt. Sa perte est immense pour les habitants. Cahill en trouve un autre pour le remplacer. Mais comment transporter un animal de 3 600 Kg dans la jungle ennemie ?
